Rutland Water
Rutland Water is the largest man made reservoir in Europe covering 3100 acres and supplies water to a number of towns and cities in the East Midlands.
Besides supplying over 65 million gallons of water per day, there are a range of leisure facilities available including water sports, fishing, bird watching and full walking and cycling facilities around the 25 mile perimeter.

Eyebrook reservoir was originally built to supply water to Corby steel works but is more famously known as the low flying practice area for RAF 617 Squadron, more commonly known as the Dambusters.
