About Wing Hall
Built in 1891 from local stone mined at Barnack, this Victoria manor house
still retains many of it original fitments and all of it's original character.
The hall is located next to the village of Wing in Rutland, 5 miles from Oakham
and 3 miles from Uppingham. Two major cities are located within 20 miles of the
hall; Leicester to the west and Peterborough to the east.
A range of facilities are available within the grounds of the hall. Large and small groups are welcome for Wedding Receptions, Birthday Parties and Corporate Hospitaly. Catering can be arranged for up to 200 people.
For short stays, you can make use of the Camping and Caravan pitches. If you are looking for more comfortable surroundings, the hall offers a number of Self Catering Lodges as well as long term Rental Appartments.
Situated near Wing village, local facilities include two pubs, a general store and post office, a gardening centre and also an antiques shop if you are looking for something unusual.
Located within five miles are Uppingham and Oakham offering normal town facilities. For the keen fisherman, Wing Hall offers three Course Fishing lakes, with Rutland Water and Eyebrook Reservoir both offering trout fishing.
Camping, Self Catering & Coarse Fishing set in parkland in rural location just five minutes from Rutland Water.
The Barns at Wing in Rutland offer self catering accommodation within close proximity to Rutland Water (5 minutes away) or Eyebrook Reservoir (15 minutes away). Coarse fishing is also available on the estate. Or simply enjoy the beautiful countryside of the smallest county which awaits you with a warm and friendly welcome.
